The Hagstrom Retroscape Series
Noun (plural RetroScapes)
1. A landscape or setting filled with a rich history.
2. Hagstrom started making guitars in Sweden in 1958, and by the early 1960’s our guitars were known and sought after for their quality, playability, and design. Unlike the current “global monoculture” of just a few “classic” designs, electric guitars made in the 1960’s and 1970’s were rich with variety and experimentation. Hagstrom was no exception to this culture of innovation and by the early 1960’s was delivering a wide range of radical guitar designs to markets worldwide.

"The Super Swede reveals its character to be as dark as Darth Vader in a particularly bad mood"
Indeed, this axe is capable of delivering such an assaulting tone that might question certain motives for world domination! On the flip side, so extremely flexible by switching to cleaner "pristine tones" simply by activating the independent coil splits.
One might say that this "mean machine" has a split personality!
